Entrance fee can only be paid in local currency (exact change recommended). Tour times are in Spanish, rarely there is an English tour. The informational pamphlet is in both Spanish and English. Museo Popol Vuh Museum with a sizable collection of Guatemalan & ancient Mayan art & cultural artifacts at the Francisco Marroquín University (website) Transportation drop-off and pick-up is at the designated area near the building. Walk through the parking lot and up the stairs to the covered area between two buildings. Located on the third floor. Small bookstore for further reading. Worth the uber just to see the beautiful campus. See both the artifacts and textiles museums if you have time. Artifacts also out in the open next to the paths between buildings.

Lots of descriptions of objects with plenty of context for the displays in English . Large gift shop for picking up souvenirs. Located in the building across the covered open area from the building that houses the Popol Vuh museum.
Zoológico La Aurora very nice zoo, great layout, wide variety of animals, lots of food options. Q50 per person (credit cards accepted). Walking there is just as fast as uber, due to traffic flow. Cross over the the Pan American Highway on the two part pedestrian bridge just east of Denny's. Google maps does not have the pedestrian bridge in the database.
Museo Nacional de Arqueología y Etnología (MUNAE) National Museum of Mayan Art: Archeology and Ethnology (website not working) Foreigners Q 60.00 per person in local currency only, no ATMs nearby. Beautiful museum with large sculptures. Not much context for the objects on display. No English spoken, but friendly exchange with the sign-in and pay process. Transportation drop off is at the entrance to the parking lot for the group of buildings. Walk through the parking lot to find the entrance of the museum.
